What you are looking at
Quake Watch renders every earthquake from the live USGS feed as a pulsing marker at its exact epicentre on a full screen map. The open source Leaflet library plots each event on OpenStreetMap tiles, with marker size and colour scaled to magnitude.
Markers pulse on a two second cycle. Great quakes pulse in deep red, major in red, strong in amber and moderate in teal. The incident list groups events by what is happening now, what happened recently and major events, each with an expandable detail panel.
The proof strip shows the answer stamped by the live AffixIO API: a proof id, an audit id, the policy version, and an ML-DSA-65 signature over the payload digest. That is the same post-quantum signature family the production platform uses.

How does the map work?
Quake Watch uses the open source Leaflet mapping library with OpenStreetMap data. Each earthquake appears as a pulsing marker at its exact epicentre, colour coded by magnitude.
How often does it refresh?
The feed refreshes automatically every 60 seconds. The incident list updates continuously and timestamps tick every second.
Do I need an API key?
No. The map tiles, earthquake feed and Leaflet library are all free and open. The signed verdict uses a throwaway demo key requested from the live AffixIO API.
Is this an early warning system?
No. It is a monitoring tool that shows recent and ongoing seismicity. For life safety warnings, use your national alert system.
