Build the Future of Privacy
AffixIO is rebuilding eligibility verification so it works without hoarding people’s data. If you want to own a meaningful piece of that and you’re comfortable with real risk, keep reading.
Why AffixIO Exists
The way the world checks “are you eligible?” is broken. We’re taking a swing at fixing it properly.
The Problem
Banks, governments, healthcare systems and retailers all ask the same question: “Can this person do this thing?” Every time, the default answer is “collect more data and keep it forever.”
That approach is slow, expensive, and brittle. It creates regulatory risk, breach risk, and a permanent pile of personal information nobody really wants to be responsible for.
Our Direction
AffixIO gives a simple, deterministic YES/NO verdict for real-world eligibility without building a giant warehouse of personal data behind it.
Privacy isn’t a checkbox in the backlog. It’s how the system is shaped from day one.
Shared Upside, Not Slog
As we sign customers and prove the model, the value of the company and your equity both move. There’s no “we’ll make it right later” clause. If you help build it, you should participate meaningfully in what it becomes.
What We’re Building
Under the hood, this is privacy-first infrastructure, not just another web app.
Stateless & Ephemeral
Data flows in, a verdict comes out, and the inputs are discarded. No long-term storage, no “we’ll anonymise it later” story.
Cryptographically Sound
Zero-knowledge proofs and modern signatures give tamper-resistant verdicts you can defend in front of auditors and regulators.
Dynamic Rule Logic
Eligibility rules live as structured logic (JSON). Compliance teams update rules; decisions update instantly without rewrites.
Transparent Decisions
Each verdict is returned as a signed token with the decision and a trace of how we got there. No black boxes.
Real-Time API
Hook into live sources - government APIs, financial systems, healthcare records - and get answers in milliseconds, not days.
Defensible IP
Core mechanisms are patent-pending, creating a technical moat instead of just a brand and a slide deck.
How Your Equity Can Grow
This is the rough path from “three people and a deck” to something worth real money.
Start Narrow
We focus on one painful vertical first, find a sharp wedge, and prove that our approach genuinely works there.
Customer Proof
Early customers are hard-won. Once we have a few credible reference points, conversations get easier and sales cycles shorten.
Compounding Use
As more organisations rely on AffixIO, the platform becomes harder to rip out and more attractive to new users.
Regulatory Tailwinds
Privacy and security regulation is only going one way. As rules tighten, “don’t store it at all” becomes a safer answer.
Partnerships
Integrations with large vendors, government frameworks and industry standards amplify reach without linear headcount growth.
Exit or Long-Term Build
Maybe this becomes a public company, maybe it’s a strategic acquisition. In either case, early equity matters a lot.
Who This Is For
This isn’t about titles. It’s about people who want to own what they build.
How You Work
- You’re comfortable working directly with founders, not through layers.
- You’re happier shaping your role than following a job description.
- You’re fine with ambiguity as long as the mission is clear.
- Privacy, security, or critical infrastructure actually interest you.
- You lead by doing, not by sending people tasks in tools.
- You understand equity is upside, not a guarantee.
- You know meaningful things usually require sacrifice.
What You’ll Do
- Design and build systems that can stand up in front of auditors.
- Talk to customers and pull their feedback straight into product decisions.
- Help shape partnerships, from first email to signed agreement.
- Walk into investor and enterprise meetings and hold your own.
- Pick up new domains quickly when the problem requires it.
- Make calls with imperfect information and adjust when you’re wrong.
- Wear multiple hats without needing permission each time.
The Upside If It Works
Meaningful Equity
Ownership in the product, IP, relationships and brand you help build - not token grants.
Compounding Value
As the company grows, your stake doesn’t just sit still. It compounds with every milestone.
Fast Learning Curve
You’ll learn more in a few intense years than most people do in a decade of steady roles.
Low Politics
Small, direct team. Clear conversations instead of hidden agendas and status games.
Real Network
Deep relationships with customers, partners, and investors that outlive any single job.
Asymmetric Returns
If this works, the combination of learning, reputation and equity can be genuinely life-changing.
The Reality Check
No fine print. Here’s what you’re actually walking into.
⚠️ We’re pre-funding and pre-salary
There is no salary today. No benefits. No big team. Just runway, work, and an idea we believe is worth risking years of our lives on. If that sounds reckless to you, it probably isn’t the right fit.
The Hard Parts
- No paycheck for a while. Think in 12–18 month horizons, not 12 weeks.
- No benefits, perks, or HR function until we can afford them.
- There’s a real chance AffixIO doesn’t work out.
- Some weeks will be messy, intense and not very glamorous.
- You will hear “no” from customers and investors a lot.
- Co-founder chemistry matters more than any individual CV.
- There are no handrails or career ladders here yet.
- You’re taking true founder-style risk, not employee-style risk.
What You Get In Return
- Equity that’s tied clearly to what you contribute.
- A seat at the table on core product, strategy and culture choices.
- Full transparency on numbers, risks and trade-offs.
- Colleagues who assume you’re capable and treat you that way.
- A direct line between your work and company outcomes.
- The chance to build something useful for millions of people.
- Experience that’s hard to fake on a CV later.
- We rise or fall together, not alone.
Where This Can Matter
We’re not short of markets. The constraint is focus and execution.
Government Services
Benefits, permits, identity checks and access control - areas where a mistake or breach can end up on the front page.
Healthcare
Insurance eligibility, trial enrolment, prescription coverage, all under heavy regulation and constant privacy pressure.
Financial Services
KYC, AML, lending decisions and new product eligibility that demand clear, auditable decision trails.
Compliance
“Query once, prove cryptographically” instead of endlessly copying records into new systems just to tick a box.
Retail & E-Commerce
Age gates, region gating, loyalty and membership checks without building a surveillance database.
Portable Entitlements
Signed tokens or QR codes that prove eligibility wherever they’re presented, without phoning home to a central database.
This is not a normal job.
If you’re looking for comfort, this will feel wrong.
If you’re looking for a real shot at building something new, it might feel exactly right.
Read this carefully and then decide if you still want in.
If you do, reach out properly.
Email careers@affix-io.com with subject:
- Your story in concrete terms - what you’ve actually shipped, broken, fixed, or learned the hard way.
- Why this problem (eligibility + privacy) matters to you personally. Specifics beat slogans.
- Your honest runway in months - how long you can go without a salary.
- How you think about ownership, dilution and fairness in an early-stage cap table.
- The parts of AffixIO you’re most dangerous on: product, infra, crypto, compliance, sales, something else.
- Proof you do more than talk: GitHub, writing, talks, case studies, anything that shows your bar.
- Three people we can actually speak to who know how you work.
What we owe you if you join
Radical Transparency
Clear view of cash, burn, risks and trade-offs. No surprises buried in spreadsheets.
Meaningful Equity
Not a token grant. A stake that can matter if the company works.
Real Agency
You’ll be trusted to make decisions and to explain them - not to wait for sign-off on everything.
Low Ego, High Standards
Ideas win. We can argue hard about the work and still respect each other afterwards.
Direct Feedback
Honest feedback both ways. If something isn’t working, we talk about it early.
Shared Outcome
If we make it, we make it together. If we don’t, we’ll still be able to say we swung properly.
Most people will close this tab. The ones we want usually don’t.
One Last Filter
If you need stable pay, predictable hours and a clear ladder, you should absolutely take that path. There’s nothing wrong with that. It’s just not what this is.
If you’re more energised by building from almost nothing, and the idea of fixing how eligibility and privacy interact keeps poking at you, then we should at least have a conversation.
Our aim is for AffixIO to become the default way eligibility is verified without giving up privacy. If you join now, you help decide whether that happens.
