# Agentic Pay

> AffixIO decision evidence around agent-driven checkout and paid actions. The merchant and payment provider retain responsibility for moving money.

Agentic commerce involves permission to buy as well as a payment method. AffixIO workflow capabilities include budget reservations using integer currency units and human approval tied to an action and policy. The application still needs to validate the final merchant, amount, currency and scope before payment.

This distinction also matters in personal-superintelligence shopping scenarios. Calling an assistant AI, SI or ASI does not expand a payer's mandate, approve recurring charges or change the payment provider's requirements.

A changed amount or tool argument requires a matching authorization. Approval for one action must not be reused for another. Reservations, commits and releases need a clear response to operation failures and retries. Payment-provider idempotency and reconciliation remain necessary because authorization and settlement are different operations.

The SDK includes createReplayGuard. Its default in-memory store is local to one process. Multiple application instances need shared atomic replay state if they must enforce a single-use authorization across instances. Restart persistence and concurrency behavior depend on the configured store.

The workflow layer can return allow, deny or review. Review means the action is unresolved and requires the configured review path; it is not permission to execute. The specific proof mode determines which facts are cryptographically established.
